Plot Synopsis

This spin-off of SUMMER HEIGHTS HIGH opens with Jonah Takalua moving to the island of Tongapatu, following his expulsion from school. After spending four months with his extended family in Tonga, his uncle gets fed up with his antics and sends him home to Sydney, where he enrolls in a Catholic school, Holy Cross. Once again, Jonah will have to adapt to a new school, fend off new foes and deal with the Soldierz, a group of delinquents. At Holy Cross, he's placed in Lazarus House (aka Spaz House), run by the frustrated Mr. Joseph, where Jonah and his Fobba-liscious crew must deal with their nemeses, the Rangas, led by Year 12 school captain Graydon. Meanwhile, Fobba-liscious works on an original song and video for the Feel Da Beat music contest. After things go too far during an inspection, the crew ends up in juvie, where Jonah gets some good news about Feel Da Beat. Once released, they return to Holy Cross, compete in the qualifying heat for Feel Da Beat, and are affected by big changes at Lazarus House. HBO aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes on the first night and then one new episode at 10pm ET/PT on Fridays through September 5, 2014.
