Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour single-camera sitcom, career woman Jennifer Doyle loses her job as a high-powered executive and hits rock bottom, so she moves in with her mother, Maggie, where she reconnects with family and friends while figuring out how to rebuild her life. After moving in with her teenage daughter, Gretchen, in tow, Jennifer takes a job in the bar owned by her meek brother, Wayne, and passive-aggressive sister-in-law, Stephanie, as a last resort. Her new job doesn't pay her a six-figure salary to which she grew accustomed as a business executive, but it's enough for her to get by. At the bar, she reunites with her former best friend, Dina Simac, who turns out to be holding quite a grudge.

On Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 10:30pm ET/PT, TV Land aired the Season 1 finale of JENNIFER FALLS. In the season ender, "Jennifer's Song," Adam asks Jennifer and Gretchen to move in with him, but Jennifer starts to suspect that her old flame might not be everything that he seems.
