Plot Synopsis

Featuring everything from classics to supercars, and restoration projects to road tests, host Jay Leno covers the car collector's market, including the best investments and valuations in the space. Based on his web series of the same name, JAY LENO'S GARAGE will "highlight the passion and the stories behind the men and women who made the automobile the greatest invention of the 20th century," according to Leno, who is an executive producer for this series in addition to being its host. In each one-hour episode, Jay travels the country on the hunt for the car world's most radical rides and highlight the passion and the stories behind them, while offering consumer advice or investigating the latest automotive innovations. JAY LENO'S GARAGE follows Jay on his journey through the always fascinating world of people, their prized automobiles and cars everywhere, new and old. In the season premiere, "American Muscle," Jay revisits the golden era of American muscle cars. He explores what started the trend, why they're so valuable today, and if there's a rebirth on the horizon. He visits old pal and muscle car aficionado Tim Allen, hits the drag strip with the first female Pro Stock champion, gets an exclusive look at GM's top secret 1960's concept car "The Pegasus", and drives with NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson in his souped-up classic Corvette...all to find out why Americans will always love these powerful cars. Other celebrities appearing in Season 1 include: actors Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne; award-winning director Francis Ford Coppola; Los Angeles Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson; and comedian Jeff Dunham; among others.

Jay also takes a sentimental ride with champion wrestler Bill Goldberg, goes camping with VW Bus collector and comedian Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias, and hits the racetrack with a premiere Ferrari collector who has a powerful backstory. Through these encounters, he discovers just how much a car can mean to its owner.
