Plot Synopsis

Created by Sergio Castro and Enrique Videla, LA JAURIA is a mystery thriller series that centers on Blanca Ibarra, a 17-year-old student leader of the feminist movement in an occupied school, who goes missing. Just hours later, a video of a group raping the girl goes viral. In their aim to find her, a police squad formed by three women puts their lives and that of their families at risk. As they look for Blanca and investigate, they discover that behind this gender crime there is much more than just one offender. LA JAURIA had its U.S. premiere on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, as HBO Max released the entire eight-episode first season. LA JAURIA has been renewed for a second season.
