Plot Synopsis

Based on Michael Marshall Smith's novel "The Intruders" and set in the Pacific Northwest, INTRUDERS follows a series of strange, apparently unrelated events -- a missing wife, an assassin covering his crimes, a child on the run -- as these intertwining stories reveal a conspiracy that will forever change our understanding of human nature. Jack Whelan, a former LAPD cop with a troubled and violent history, moved north to build a quiet idyllic life with his wife, and he's transformed into a modestly successful writer struggling to pen his second work. Gary Fisher, a handsome attorney and old friend of Jack, quietly asks him to look into a mysterious double homicide. Shortly after Jack takes the case, his wife, ad exec Amy, goes on a business trip and disappears, and he becomes entirely consumed with his investigations, threatening his very core. Meanwhile, a distraught little girl named Madison runs away from home into a world of danger, and a sinister person who calls himself Federal Agent Richard Shepherd appears. As Jack continues to investigate, he reveals truths about a secret society devoted to chasing immortality.
On Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, BBC America premiered the season finale of INTRUDERS. In the season ender, "There Is No End," Jack discovers the alarming depth and scope of the organization to which he's lost Amy. Meanwhile, Marcus and Madison engage in a fatal struggle, and Richard is forced on the run -- but recruits an unexpected partner along the way.
