Plot Synopsis

Through a series flashbacks, INSIDE MEN follows three security depot employees as they orchestrate a multi-million pound cash heist at their own workplace. John Coniston finds himself in the middle of his worst nightmare, an armed robbery. His family is taken hostage and a gang of masked-robbers force him to open the safe at gunpoint. Then a flashback to a time before the heist when he suspects depot security officer Chris and forklift driver Marcus have taken 50,000 pounds -- when he invites the two men into his office to confront them, he decides to offer them a way out that doesn't involve the police. The three unlikely accomplices must plan and execute the job, while acting natural during the heist and its aftermath. As tension builds among the group in the final preparations for the theft, they also find their heist has life-changing consequences. As part of its Wednesday night "Dramaville" programming, BBC America aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10pm ET.
