Plot Synopsis

In each 30-minute episode, the host travels to a different region in the United States, visiting restaurants, markets and companies that prepare and provide meals using sustainable local ingredients. Plus, the chef finds the local growers, farmers and fishermen who provide the food for those establishments. In Season 1, chef Barton Seaver visited Minneapolis, New York City and San Francisco. Chef Scott Pampuch took over as chef/host in Season 2, traveling to Boulder, CO; Virginia; and San Diego, CA.
