Plot Synopsis

IMPOSSIBLE FIXES is a one-hour docuseries that chronicles the dedicated maintenance crews who race against the clock to ensure critical infrastructures are operating as designed every day. In California, fearless technicians' work at terrifying heights to keep a famous tramway safe. In Eastern Canada, engineers brave the elements to keep the world's longest bridge over freezing, ice covered waters, open for travelers. As forest fires rage in the remote Canadian wilderness, engineers battle the destructive power of nature and scarcity of vital resources to ensure a fleet of water-bombing aircraft are ready to fly at a moment's notice. In the series opener, "Roller Coaster 911," when the world's oldest roller coaster breaks at the worst possible moment, skilled engineers and technicians race against the clock to investigate what went wrong and how to fix it before it's opened to the public.
