Plot Synopsis

This unique interview program pairs two leading creative innovators from different fields including film, literature, architecture, sports, music, and business. One ''Iconoclast'' acts as a guide into the world of the other to explore their creative process, their inspirations and their passions. Set outside of a studio at a location meaningful to one or both of the subjects, each pair provides viewers with an inside glimpse into the passion, inspiration, and motivation that made these stars in their field who they are today. Season 6, which premiered on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, opened with the unpredictable James Franco visiting boundary-pushing performance artist Marina Abramovic. Other pairs for the show's sixth season included: Lena Dunham + Judd Apatow; Seth MacFarlane + Norah Jones; Christy Turlington Burns + Tory Burch; and Jamie Oliver + Paul Smith.
