Plot Synopsis

I (HEART) NICK CARTER is a half-hour reality series that follows Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his fiance Lauren Kitt as they prepare to walk down the aisle. Known for being the only single member of the band, Nick was deemed America's Most Eligible Bachelor and he reveled in the title. But now, all that's about to change. After years of playing the field -- and the occasional bad romance -- Nick has finally found love with Lauren. Lauren was born in Southern California but moved completely on her own to a small town in central Japan at the age of 21 to work for an innovative veterinary hospital group. After several years, and in an effort to further explore the world and develop her language skills, Lauren moved to Paris, France. In addition to speaking four languages and working on a degree in nutrition, Lauren is a professional fitness competitor and is deeply committed to environmental issues and animal rights. Now, she's become the center of Nick's universe -- but no one said love would be easy. Nick's devoted fans aren't too pleased to see their idol snatched away by another woman. Plus, Nick's demanding career -- touring worldwide with the Backstreet Boys, producing studio albums, writing an autobiography, and forming Nick & Knight with Jordan Knight -- often tests their engagement and five-year relationship. Will their love prove strong enough to overcome their career obstacles and their outrageous families who stand in their way on the sometimes rocky path to "I Do"?
