Plot Synopsis

HUNTING VINTAGE is a half-hour series that follows home seekers who scour the country for vintage houses. From century-old Victorians to timeless Brownstones and historic Four Squares, each 30-minute episode features a different couple touring three properties in desirable neighborhoods in their region of the country to find a house with the perfect heritage they seek. On Monday, June 29, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered a sneak-peek episode of HUNTING VINTAGE, as a Baltimore couple navigates the Charm City's ample supply of stately Colonials, Civil War row houses, and Victorian charmers. With a tight budget and differences on how much work they should do, these first time buyers are in for both history and real estate lessons. More than a year later -- on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT -- HGTV broadcast the official series premiere, the first of five new episodes that week. In the series opener, Newlyweds are searching for a home that has vintage charm in Sacramento, California.

After a three-month break, HUNTING VINTAGE returned with new episodes on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the fall premiere, Dionne and Jamada are in the market for the charm and quality a vintage Chicago home can offer. Dionne's love for vintage started with her love for thrift shops, while Jamada's passion and respect for vintage is a result of being a professional carpenter. While Dionne loves the feminine details and 'doll house' look of Victorians, Jamada wants something more masculine and sturdy looking like a Tudor. But with a $250,000 budget, will they find the perfect vintage home that satisfies both of their needs? Or will their dreams be whisked away in the bluster of the Windy City?
