Plot Synopsis

Author and engineer Vin Marshall, mechanical engineer Paul Carson, and inventor Erick Gocke work together to create outrageous contraptions -- just to see how hard it is to design and build these real-life inventions. In the first episode, the three guys build the flying house from the theatrical film UP, using a 16x16-foot house and 300 helium balloons filled to 8 feet tall, getting the home to fly for approximately an hour while reaching an altitude of 10,000 feet. In later episodes, Vin, Paul and Erick build a homemade rocket and a robotic submarine. How many world records will the crew set?
