Plot Synopsis

Contractor, plumber, and mother of two Kristi Hansen repairs and transforms neglected homes by educating negligent homeowners to value "practical over pretty." From plumbing problems that seep into a home's foundation drip-by-drip to a no-ventilation bathroom that breeds a full-scale mold invasion, Kristi uses shock tactics to teach homeowners how to maintain a lifetime relationship with their homes. Kristi has over 19 years of experience as a tradesman, plumber, Class B gasfitter and mentor, who is also the owner/operator of the successful plumbing and renovation company, Pretty Plumbing Co. in Vancouver, Canada. HGTV aired the U.S. premiere of this series with back-to-back episodes on New Year's Day 2012 at 7am ET.
