Plot Synopsis

In this half-hour series, blogger, home cook and author Shaye Elliott shares her life on a busy farm and her deliciously authentic dishes. Shaye serves up easy-to-prepare, rustic and crowd-pleasing recipes proving you don't have to buy the cow to enjoy a taste of the farm. On Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 12:30pm ET/PT, Food Network premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes of HOMESTEAD TABLE on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Weekend Supper," Shaye makes an Herby Goat Cheese Frittata to fuel the hungry kids through their morning chores. After an afternoon of apple picking, supper consists of Bay Roasted Chicken, Crispy Smooshed Potatoes, Cream and Greens fresh from the garden, and a Rustic Apple Cake in honor of apple season on the farm.
