Plot Synopsis

HOME ON THE ROAD WITH JOHNNYSWIM is a six-episode docuseries that follows the struggles and triumphs of Abner Ramirez and Amanda Sudano Ramirez of the Los Angeles-based band JOHNNYSWIM, as they juggle their careers, their two kids Joaquin (4) and Luna (12 months), and their pregnancy during a three-month cross-country tour while sharing a small bus with 15 other band and crew members. On Monday, January 4, 2021 -- the day that discovery+ launched -- the streaming service released the first 24-minute episode of HOME ON THE ROAD WITH JOHNNYSWIM, which will debut later in 2021 on Magnolia Network. In this episode, "Dallas," Amanda and Abner prepare for the tour, and they decide to keep their pregnancy a secret. Their first stop will be Dallas, and Amanda is already exhausted, so it's up to Abner to keep the kids occupied while Amanda gets the rest she needs before the show. HOME ON THE ROAD WITH JOHNNYSWIM made its linear television debut on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Noon ET/PT on Magnolia Network.
