Plot Synopsis

HOME CHEF SHOWDOWN is a three-part special series that features home chefs competing against each other in culinary challenges as they vie for $1,000 gift card to Cost Plus World Market. In each 30-minute episode, three chefs try to grill the best dishes -- appetizers, entire meal, or desserts, depending on the episode -- and their creations are judged by a panel of culinary professionals -- Duff Goldman; Jamika Pessoa; Chris Koetke; and Margo True -- who select the winning cheftestant at the end of each program.
