Plot Synopsis

Each weekday morning, hosts Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison cover everything domestic -- from home improvement tips to teaching viewers how to Skype and from how to buy a week's worth of groceries for $100 to how to grow organic hothouse tomatoes. Plus, the hosts interact with high-profile celebs and non-celebrities in roundtable discussions with experts from every field.

To start Season 1, Mark Steines and Paige Davis hosted. Plus, as part of the Universal Studios tour, trams deliver audiences for specific portions of the program -- games, animals, parties, and musical performances. Paige Davis, one of the two original co-hosts of the series, left the series "after much thought and careful consideration, and after close to three months away from her own home and family," according to a statement from Hallmark Channel. HOME & FAMILY was originally billed as the ultimate how-to show, and now simply intends to help viewers live their lives better.

HOME & FAMILY returned for its second season on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10am ET/PT, as Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare welcomed AMERICAN IDOL Season 3 contestant Matt Rogers and lifestyle and beauty expert Kym Douglas, while also going on a tour of a starter home and providing money and energy-saving tips for winter. During the rest of the first week of Season 2, these guests appeared: actor James Denton; author Carol Higgins Clark; real-estate expert Josh Flagg; and country singer Kenny Rogers.

On Monday, September 15, 2014 from 10am-Noon ET/PT, Hallmark Channel aired the Season 3 premiere of HOME & FAMILY. In the season opener, Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare chatted with: the judges from the courtroom show HOT BENCH, who provide a look into the legal world; actor Nathan Gamble, who discusses working with his animal co-stars on DOLPHIN TALE 2; Tanya Memme, who talks about separation anxiety; and chef Jeff Henderson, who reveals details about his new series.

Season 5 of HOME & FAMILY premiered on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 10am-Noon ET. In the season opener includes Pastor Victoria Osteen; Adam Nimoy, who talks about his new documentary; the finalists of the American Humane Association's Hero Dog Awards stopping by; DIY Spock bookends; the science behind a brain freeze; a DIY pallet coffee table. The rest of the premiere week features these celebrities: Hallmark Channel stars Paul Greene and Danica McKellar; Hal Linden; Naya Rivera; Simone Missick; D'Arcy Carden; Katee Sackhoff; Michelle Ang; and more.

Season 6 of HOME & FAMILY premiered on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 10am-Noon ET/PT on Hallmark Channel, followed immediately by an encore presentation from Noon-2pm ET/PT. Mark Steines and Debbie Matenopoulos welcome actress Julie Gonzalo from the Hallmark Channel original movie FALLING FOR VERMONT. Actor John C. McGinley from THE GOOD CATHOLIC joins the show. Celebrity chef Scott Conant cooks rigatoni with bolognese sauce. Debbie and Matt Iseman make guilt-free game day appetizers. Larissa Wohl is here with Hallmark Channel's Canine Goodwill Ambassador, Happy the Dog. Kym Douglas shows viewers ways to wake up our faces. Maria Provenzano has a DIY crate train. Ken Wingard and Paige Hemmis team up for DIY backyard decor. Lawrence Zarian, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, and Orly Shani have the hottest day-to-night fashions.
