Plot Synopsis

Mia is a transwoman contract killer trying to make enough money to complete her transformation, and she's used to the lonely, singular life of a hitwoman -- until her ex-girlfiend dies of cancer and names her as the guardian of a family of three stepchildren and a son she never knew she had. Now, Mia's newly developing maternal instincts become confused with her instincts as the top killer for Eddie, a professional criminal in Manchester, while she deals with issues of a family feeling alienated, grief over losing her ex-girlfriend, her own sexual identity, the urges of a cool killer, and her romantic interest in Ben. Mia's new family includes: 16-year-old stepdaughter Riley; 14-year-old stepson Levi; 11-year-old son Ryan; and 5-year-old stepdaughter Leonie. DirecTV's Audience Network aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10pm ET.
