Plot Synopsis

This documentary series was shot over four years in suburban Kansas and follows 12 diverse young women from their freshman year through graduation. This unscripted account chronicles what really goes on behind the walls of high school and within the lives of teenage girls, from dealing with drugs, pregnancy, depression, and self-esteem issues to family dynamics and peer pressure. The series goes beyond the classroom to reveal major pressing issues that today's adolescent culture faces.
