Plot Synopsis

Erin and Chris Benzakien have spent the last decade building their family-run business Floret Farms from the soil up in the fertile Skagit River Valley of Washington State. Now considered one of the most well-known flower farms in the world, they've decided to risk everything by adding and rehabilitating 24 new acres of land to expand their seed business. On Monday, January 4, 2021 -- the day that discovery+ launched -- the streaming service released the first 48-minute episode of GROWING FLORET as a series sneak peek. In this episode, "Groundwork," Erin and Chris can't turn down the opportunity to expand when neighboring land becomes available, but they quickly realize the soil is depleted. They face new challenge as they troubleshoot before entering their busy season. GROWING FLORET had its official series debut on Thursday, July 15, 2021 when the Magnolia app released the all four Season 1 episodes the same day the app launched. GROWING FLORET made its linear television debut on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1pm ET on Magnolia Network.
Season 2 of GROWING FLORET debuted on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, as discovery+ released the first four episodes. In the season opener, "Preserving the Old," Erin and the team work to prepare a collection of heirloom roses that belonged to a renowned rosarian. In the process of saving roses for future generations, Erin meets another expert who helps deepen her understanding of roses, their legacy, and her own.
