Plot Synopsis

Detective Nick Burckhardt starts to see people as beasts and animals from Grimm's Fairy Tales, and he discovers that his mission -- and legacy -- is to protect humans from these beasts. To solve his cases, Nick works with his partner, Det. Hank Green, and Eddie Monroe, a reformed werewolf who mastered the dark arts. And Nick may even need some help from his Aunt Marie, who is thought to have some secrets. His attempts to shield his fiancee, Juliette Silverton, and Hank from the hazards of his new life have reached a crisis, leaving Juliette in a mysterious coma and Hank on the verge of a mental breakdown. As Nick develops his ability to harness his inner Grimm, he begins to question what he once knew, never more so than when he is reunited with his mother. GRIMM returned for its midseason premiere on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, picking up with the show's November cliffhanger, when Nick learned from Monroe about Juliette and Captain Renard's obsession with each other, an attraction induced by Adalind's spell. In the second half of Season 2, Nick seeks revenge, while investigating his own crime, and Rosalee returns.
