Plot Synopsis

On May 4, 2007 an EF5 tornado -- one of the strongest tornadoes in American history -- touched down and devastated Greensburg, Kansas. This series documents how the people of the town came together to rebuild their lives and their livelihoods, turning the town into a testament to the resiliency of the human spirit. In season 3, the series returns to the community and documents how the enormous task of transforming a small city into a sustainable center has become a reality. GREENSBURG is co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio's production company, Appian Way.
