Plot Synopsis

"The Goode Family" is an animated sitcom about a family that, well, tries to be good. Gerald Goode is a college administrator, his wife Helen is a community activist, and the couple lives by the motto WWAGD ("What Would Al Gore Do?"). One of their main goals in life is to leave no carbon footprint behind, which means they drive a hybrid, recycle everything imagineable and are zealous vegans. So overzealous, in fact, that they've even tried converting the family dog Che into a vegan, but he's secretly depopulating the neighborhood of squirrels, rabbits and birds. They have a daughter, Bliss, who is anything but, and they even adopted a baby from Africa. The only problem is that their adopted son Ubuntu is from South Africa and he's white -- not quite what Gerald and Helen expected after watching Brangelina adopt children.
