Plot Synopsis

In THE GOOD, THE MAD AND THE HUNGRY, Chef David LeFevre finds the best hidden eating spots in America. On Monday, April 25, 2016 at 9:30pm ET/6:30pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Southern California," David takes a SoCal road trip up California's Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to the Central Coast. Along the way he sinks his teeth into a legendary burger, a triple pork sandwich and even dives in headfirst at an oyster farm on his quest.
