Plot Synopsis

Former NEXT FOOD NETWORK STAR finalist Chef Nathan Lyon, author of "Great Food Starts Fresh," travels across America to discover restaurants that support local food purveyors while sharing secrets of their signature dishes. In each 30-minute episode, Nathan visits two restaurants, including: Southpaw's Organic Grill in Dallas, TX; Lark in Seattle, WA; Tin Shed Garden Cafe in Portland, OR; Zazu in Santa Rosa, CA; Miya's Sushi in New Haven, CT; It's Only Natural Restaurant in Middletown, CT; and eateries in other cities, like Berkeley, San Francisco, Saint Augustine, Chicago, Milwaukee, New York City and more. On Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 9pm ET, Veria Living aired two, back-to-back, sneak peek episodes. Three days later, on Saturday, July 7, 2012, the network showed the same two episodes as the official series premiere at 9pm ET.
