Plot Synopsis

Each weekday afternoon for one hour, hosts Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer interview celebrities and news makers, feature pop-culture news and original entertaiment, serve up breaking news when it happens, and inform viewers about lifestyle, health and workplace and consumer reporting. Plus, this series is scheduled to highlight many of the same personalities as GOOD MORNING AMERICA, including special appearances by Sam Champion, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. GOOD AFTERNOON AMERICA is scheduled to air for nine weeks during the Summer of 2012, replacing REVOLUTION on ABC's daytime schedule and holding the time slot until the premiere of KATIE, Katie Couric's new talk show. The premiere episode featured these guests: Award-winning Broadway star Liza Minelli; coupon pro Judy Pezza from TLC's EXTREME COUPONING; and actor and comedian Sherrod Small.
