Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by three-time Olympian Dominique Dawes and LeBron James, GOLDEN: THE JOURNEY OF USA'S ELITE GYMNASTS is a six-episode documentary series that takes fans behind the scenes as Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez, Morgan Hurd, Sunisa Lee, Konnor McClain, and MyKayla Skinner compete for the four coveted Team USA roster spots. The series documents the athletes' personal accomplishments, struggles, and sacrifices, while featuring commentary from current and former Olympic athletes, parents, coaches, and industry experts on what it takes to compete at the highest level and milestone events including the National Team training camp and Olympic qualifying competition. Following the USA Gymnastic Trials competition, the first three episodes of the series premiere on June 27 on Peacock, with new episodes dropping weekly on July 7, July 14, and July 21.
