Plot Synopsis

Amanda moves back to the affluent Dallas neighborhood where she grew up as a mean girl, and now she encounters the gossipy, bitchy, Christian neighbors whose lives she made a living hell in high school. After her husband is busted for running a Ponzi scheme and later dies, Amanda returns to her hometown as a widow and single mother of two children. Now humbled and changed, she tries to reacquaint herself with her neighbors: Carlene, the beautiful and manipulative head of this group of women, is a villain motivated by her skewed sense of goodness and even though she knows the Bible, she'll break few commandments to get what she wants; Sharon, a beautiful, full-figured woman who is a compulsive eater and super-sensitive about her weight and has a grudge against Amanda for starting a malicious rumor; Cricket, a former classmate who is out to ruin Amanda's life after Amanda stole -- and later married -- her high-school boyfriend; and Heather, a successful real-estate agent who is the only one happy to have her back. Amanda must also deal with her overbearing mother, Gigi, and the bitches' husbands: Ripp, the husband of Darlene; Blake, a metrosexual cowboy married to Cricket.
