Plot Synopsis

Relocating from San Diego to Sin City, THE GAME returns with a mix of new players and cast from the original series -- including series regulars Wendy Raquel Robinson and Hosea Chanchez -- to offer a modern-day examination of Black culture through the prism of pro football. The team tackles racism, sexism, classism and more as they fight for fame, fortune, respect and love -- all while trying to maintain their souls as they each play The Game. New characters include: Brittany Pitts, the daughter of Jason and Kelly Pitts; Jamison Fields, an undrafted free agent; Raquel Navarro, Brittany's best friend; Colonel Ulysses S. Thatcher, a self-made billionaire; Garret Evans, the top football player in the league; and more. Plus, legacy players Coby Bell, Brittany Daniel and Pooch Hall make special appearances, reprising their roles as Jason Pitts, Kelly Pitts and Derwin Davis, respectively. On Thursday, November 11, 2021, Paramount+ released the first two episodes of THE GAME:

"A Taste of Vegas (Part 1)" & "A Taste of Vegas (Part 2)": Tasha Mack juggles her flourishing business and the careers of her clients, including that of her son's, Malik Wright, who is intent on taking his future with the Vegas Fighting Fury to the next level. Meanwhile, Brittany Pitts, the resourceful daughter of Jason and Kelly Pitts, and aspiring pro-football player Jamison Fields find themselves in Vegas as well, searching for opportunity and potentially escaping their pasts.

A new episode of THE GAME dropped each Thursday through January 6, 2022.
THE GAME made its linear television debut on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on BET, with a simulcast on BET Her. Two weeks earlier -- on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 -- Paramount+ announced that it renewed THE GAME for a second season.
