Plot Synopsis

This multi-camera comedy follows six thirtysomethings, who each thinks that others in the group of friends have it better. At the center of the group, Will, a sarcastic gynecologist, expects the worst from everyone, especially after his ex-wife cheated on him. Will's best friend, Bobby, also a gynecologist, is happily married to Andi, with a toddler and another baby on the way. Jules is a former model who was discovered in a mall when she was 13, and has recently met Lowell, the man of her dreams. Kate is very successful at work, but this competitive and narcissistic woman has a messy dating life -- and she may just have a breakdown when she finds out her last remaining single friend, Jules, just got engaged. FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES had a special premiere on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on CBS, immediately after the one-hour series finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Two weeks later, April 14,, FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES settled into its regular timeslot at 8:30pm ET/PT on Mondays.
