In this weekly series of boxing events, Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas describe the action for ESPN2, while studio host Todd Grisham presents all the latest news and boxing highlights. In his role as on-site, bi-lingual reporter, former FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS host Bernardo Osuna presents live interviews and reports for ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS premiered its 16th season on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10pm ET/7pm PT, featuring undefeated Junior Lightweights Rances 'Kid Blast' Barthelemy (17-0, 11 KOs) and Arash Usmanee (20-0, 10 KOs) in the 12-round main event. Season 17 premiered on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on ESPN2, with a 12-round IBF title bout between Junior Lightweight titlist Argenis Mendez (21-2-1, 11 KOs) and undefeated Rances Barthelemy (19-0, 12 KOs).

FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS returned for its eighteenth season on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, featuring a 12-round lightweight bout between WBA #1 ranked Darleys Perez (31-1, 20 KOs) and Jonathan Maicelo (21-1, 12 KOs). Blow-by-blow commentators Joe Tessitore and Todd Grisham will again share ringside duties alongside analyst Teddy Atlas on ESPN2. Grisham, who will call the fights with Atlas during the season opener, will also return for his third season as studio host providing all the latest boxing news and highlights when not calling fights.
