Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by Greg Garcia, SPRUNG is a half-hour comedy series that focuses on an unlikely group of formerly incarcerated people who band together to use their criminal expertise for good. After being unexpectedly released from prison due to the pandemic, a group of former inmates shelter-in-place together and decide to pull a job. The crew gets sidetracked from planning their next job when an unexpected turn of events causes them to put one of their own to the test. Season 1 guest stars include: Kate Walsh as Congresswoman Paula Tackleberry; Camden Garcia; Andre Jamal Kinney; Chris Bauer; Mark Christopher Lawrence; Mike Rob; Fred Grandy; Steven Ogg; Susan Ruttan; and David Wells. The first two episodes debuted on Freevee on Friday, August 19, 2022, followed by new episodes each week culminating in a one-hour season finale on September 16.

On Friday, September 16, 2022, Freevee released "Chapter Nine," the one-hour season finale of SPRUNG. The crew is caught unprepared when the timeline of the heist gets moved up. Jack comes face-to-face with the Congresswoman as the crew scrambles to pull off the crime of their lives.
