Plot Synopsis

Based on the 1996 film of the same name, FIRST WIVES CLUB is a half-hour scripted series that centers on best friends Ari, Hazel, and Bree, who, after neglecting their friendship, reunite to help each other through rough patches in their lives. Together, they navigate music superstar Hazel's tabloid-ridden divorce, campaign manager Ari's unsatisfying marriage and orthopedic surgeon Bree's cheating husband. Along the way, the women learn that as long as they have each other, there's nothing they can't do. All nine episodes of FIRST WIVES CLUB were released on Thursday, September 19, 2019 on BET+, which is available to stream on multiple platforms, including Amazon Video, Apple TV, Google Play, and more.

The entire 10-episode second season of FIRST WIVES CLUB dropped on Thursday, July 15, 2021 on BET+. In the season opener, "Independent Women," with Hazel on a world tour, Bree balances home and work. Ari struggles to stay connected to David. Back in NY, Jayla tries to fill Ari's shoes with a high-profile case. Hazel returns from her travels with more than just a souvenir keychain. FIRST WIVES CLUB's second season made its linear television debut on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10pm ET/PT on BET, with a simulcast on BET Her.

Season 3 of FIRST WIVES CLUB premiered on Thursday, November 17, 2022 on BET+, as the streaming service released the first two episodes of the new season. In the season opener, "You Can't Hurry Love," Hazel gears up for her destination wedding to Nigel, Gary and Bree navigate conflicting schedules and career changes, and Jayla faces pressure to go public with Jacob. Then, in "Stop in the Name of Love," Hazel gets cold feet on her wedding day, Bree and Gary come to a realization about their family's lifestyle, and the ladies receive devastating news.
