Plot Synopsis
Produced and created by actor/director Rick Schroder, this one-hour series follows the US Army in Afghanistan -- from high-ranking generals seeking to protect an election in Kabul to 3rd Platoon soldiers trying to flush out Taliban members in the countryside -- as they help rebuild and protect a war-torn country. THE FIGHTING SEASON was filmed over three months in Spring 2014.
