Plot Synopsis

FIGHT FACTORY goes behind the scenes at San Jose's famous American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), Javier Mendez's gym where mixed martial arts (MMA) legends like Cain Velasquez, Daniel Cormier, Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch have trained along with determined fighters Phil Baroni and Mike Kyle and rising stars Wayne Phillips, Gabriel Carrasco and Ron Keslar. Each 60-minute episode captures their intense training sessions and reveals their inner demons, as they grapple with the personal and professional pitfalls and triumphs that create true MMA champions. Plus, this series chronicles the recent headline-grabbing conflict between MMA champ Koscheck and AKA owner Mendez and their falling out, which led Koscheck to part ways with AKA and open his own MMA gym, Dethrone Base Camp, in Fresno, California.
