Plot Synopsis

Food expert Adam Richman travels across America, attending sporting events, concerts, festivals, fairs and any other event where the craziest superfans gather to tailgate. Adam immerses himself into each event -- from the Daytona 500 to the Kentucky Derby to Trucks Gone Wild -- where Adam meets veteran attendees, known for their years of dedication and commitment to what they love. He samples their fantastic food, enjoys the homemade gadgets that makes each tailgate unique, and learns their insider secrets to what makes each of these events so legendary and worthy of wild celebration. To cap off each event, Adam takes everything he's uncovered on his journey to give back to the fans with something they've never seen before: a new culinary creation inspired by the event and an amazing party that celebrates the superfans he's visiting. In each 30-minute episode, Richman travels to a different North American event, including: Daytona 500 (Daytona, FL); Trucks Gone Wild at the Redneck Yacht Club (Punta Gorda, Fla.); Tesoro Arctic Man (Paxson, AK); Beer, Brats & Brewers (Milwaukee, WI); Bonnaroo (Manchester, TN); Calgary Stampede (Calgary, Alberta); Country Stampede (Manhattan, KN); Indy 500 (Indianapolis, IN); Kentucky Derby (Louisville, KY); Laconia Motorcycle Week (Laconia, NH); Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest (Memphis, TN); San Fermin in Nueva Orleans (New Orleans, LA); and Scarborough Renaissance Festival (Waxahachie, TX). On Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, Travel Channel aired a one-hour special, SUPER BOWL TAILGATE TAKEOVER, with Richman and his team building two incredible NFL tailgate rigs fit for the Super Bowl. Plus, Richman went to tailgate parties at five different NFL games in cities like Houston, Atlanta, Kansas City, and more. In April, Travel Channel announced that this program, originally called TAILGATE TAKEOVER, would air its official series premiere on July 14, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT with a new series title, ADAM RICHMAN'S FANDEMONIUM.
