Plot Synopsis

Logging is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world with annual fatality rates over 21 times higher than the rate for all other professions. In season 1 "Extreme Loggers" follows a different type of logging company -- swamp, mule, helicopter -- in each episode. In the second season, the series focuses on the ice loggers of Pineridge Logging, and these men must brave frigid temperatures and frostbite to harvest valuable timber before the spring thaw ends their season.
