Plot Synopsis

Using footage from the series EPIC about homes that are on land, road and water, EPIC HOMES revisits these locations where people spend millions to make their dream homes come true. Each 60-minute episode features extensive tours of four different homes, including: a floating palace with an underwater basement; a super yacht with on-board garage; Log Mahal, a gigantic state-of-the-art tribute to the Old West; the ultimate luxury RV; a Texas-sized log fortress; a towering water home; and a James Bond speedboat that transforms into a multi-dimensional pleasure craft; a floating palace in Kentucky; a powerhouse and road warrior RV in Idaho; and a Grand Teton Mountain retreat that's a clone of Yellowstone's Old Faithful.

EPIC HOMES returned for its second season on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Destination America. The Season 2 premiere episode featured a house that protects you from intruders with gadgets straight out of James Bond, a ship plucked from the sea and converted into a vacation home and a Hollywood star who ordered a double-wide soaking tub for his double-decker RV.
