Plot Synopsis

When three working-class teens -- Samuel, Nadia, and Christian -- enroll at Las Encinas, an exclusive private school in Spain, the clash between them and the wealthy students leads to murder. ELITE, a one-hour scripted series, opens after a public high school collapses, and the builder tries to repair its image by paying for three impacted students to attend an exclusive private school. A school project brings Marina and Samuel closer, and inspires Guzman to try and win over Nadia. Meanwhile, Christian is shocked by a revelation. Samuel throws a party, where Nano makes a move on Marina and spiked punch affects more than one couple. Nadia is hurt by what she learns about Guzman. In the wake of a classmate's death, a student vanishes, allegiances shift, new friends join the drama, and dark secrets become too difficult to contain. Seeking the truth about Marina's death, Samuel attempts to seduce Carla. Lu's new friend, social media guru Cayetana, hosts an impromptu party.

When another classmate is killed, a new investigation ensues. The students look toward their future, while the consequences of the past haunt them. Season 3 opens with Carla being interrogated when a student is killed at a party. In the past, she faces Polo in court, Ander has a health worry, and Nadia meets a new suitor. Guzman attempts to make amends. Nadia threatens payback when she and Lu go after the same scholarship. Ander comes clean to his loved ones.

At Las Encinas, the new semester means new love triangles, new students, new rules -- and a new mysterious crime. After Samuel's death, Las Encinas faces a new school year trying to have a facelift by covering up disasters of the past. However, the conflict in its classrooms is systemic: racism, sexism, domestic abuse or LGTBI-phobia are just a few of the difficult issues that will run through the hallways of the prestigious institution this season. If those who run the system do not actively take action to address these issues, it will have to be the students themselves who do so.

ELITE returned for its seventh season on Friday, October 20, 2023 on Netflix, which released the entire eight-episode new season. In Season 7, Omar is living a new life at the university and far away from Las Encinas, but he is unable to move on. The guilt he feels for Samuel's death and the suffering from that period are still very much present, leading him to undergo therapy. Thanks to an internship, he decides to return to the school where everything happened to confront his demons face to face. Through Omar's journey, it's revealed that the rest of the students are also silently battling their own hells.
