Plot Synopsis

It's the 1890s and Dracula has arrived in London, posing as American entrepreneur Alexander Grayson, who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He's especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night -- and is quite useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who crossed him centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan...until he becomes infatuated with Mina Murray, who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife. Through his relationship with Mina, Grayson and his fiercely loyal confidante, R.M. Renfield, get introduced to Aristocratic London, where they meet: Lucy Westenra, Mina's best friend, who is a gossip, flirt and social butterfly; Lady Jayne, a lithe and beautiful woman, who is attracted to Grayson and pursues him; Jonathan Harker, a handsome and slightly gauche journalist desperate to climb the ranks of aristocracy; and Van Helsing, a brilliant professor powerful enough to be a threat to the public.
