Plot Synopsis

DOWN HOME FAB is a one-hour reality series that follows TEEN MOM 2's Chelsea and Cole Deboer, as they launch a design business in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The couple discovered their love for design while building their dream home on 25 acres of land in Sioux Falls. Now they're ready to take on the challenge of helping others in the area do the same. During each hour-long episode, they lean on Cole's construction experience and Chelsea's eye for design as they guide a family through the design process.

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered "Cozy Sophisticated," a sneak-peek episode of DOWN HOME FAB. Chelsea and Cole take on the home of a local real estate agent who could help make or break their design business, and look to turn their traditional living areas into an open concept dream kitchen.

DOWN HOME FAB made its official series debut on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the series opener, "Ranch Glam," Chelsea and Cole take on a couple's chopped-up ranch house and look to transform it into a bold statement that celebrates rustic elements and a glam open concept. This project could be the showcase for Chelsea and Cole's business, so the pressure is on.

Season 2 of DOWN HOME FAB premiered on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. The eight hour-long episodes follow the DeBoers as they take their Sioux Falls, South Dakota, home transformations to the next level with bigger builds and bolder designs. Throughout the season, Cole, the project manager and jack-of-all-trades, and Chelsea, the designer, work together to juggle new clients and construction projects, all while raising their four children on a picturesque Midwestern farm. In the premiere episode, "A Fresh Start," the DeBoers meet a widower who is counting on them to renovate his family home into a warm and refreshed space to raise his three young children after the recent loss of their mother to cancer. Cole and Chelsea give the entire main floor a rustic industrial-inspired overhaul while honoring the memories of his late wife. To make sure the kids feel right at home, they design a revamped play space and themed bedrooms with fun and cozy vibes in mind.
