Plot Synopsis

DONNIE LOVES JENNY is a half-hour reality series that follows Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy, starting with their wedding through their lives as newlyweds as they adjust to married life -- from blending their families to managing their busy schedules. Newlywed bliss proves to be cramped when the pair is joined by Jenny's dad, Macky, her son, Evan, and Donnie's lovable dog, Lumpy, all living under one roof. The 10-episode series opens with a special one-hour wedding episode, kicking off with behind-the-scenes moments from their big day in Chicago and then following the twosome through their nuptials into their first experiences as a married couple. Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are executive producers of DONNIE LOVES JENNY. On Wednesday, July 17, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered the seond season of DONNIE LOVES JENNY. In the season opener, "Goodbye NY," Donnie and Jenny need to move out of their New Jersey townhouse, now that they have purchased their house in Chicago. Jenny worries that Donnie doesn't actually want to move back, and the couple must figure out a way to tell Jenny's dad, Macky, that he's not moving in with them in their Chicago home. Season 3 of DONNIE LOVES JENNY premiered on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as A&E premiered back-to-back new episodes. This season focuses on the lovebirds as they settle into suburban life since making the big move to St. Charles, IL as well as juggle their celebrity as more and more fans find their way to their residence. Viewers will watch as Jenny copes with her baby boy, Evan, heading into adolescence, Donnie struggling to pass his motorcycle test and Jenny's work with her autism charity auction, Generation Rescue. Cameras will follow Donnie and Jenny to Dallas where Jenny gives the keynote speech at an autism conference as well as capture every fun, family moment along the way as they celebrate Halloween and Jenny's big birthday. In the season opener (10pm), "Ride It Out," Donnie has his heart set on buying a new motorcycle to help him keep his edge now that they are settling into suburban life. As he struggles to pass his motorcycle test, Jenny has her own business to take care of at the DMV. Then, in the night's second new episode (10:30pm), "Birthday Cruise," as Jenny and Donnie settle into their new home, they celebrate Donnie's first birthday in St. Charles. Meanwhile, Evan is diving head first into adolescence and Jenny fears her affectionate baby boy is gone forever.

On Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered the Season 3 finale of DONNIE LOVES JENNY. In the season ender, "R.I.P. Youth," with Halloween just around the corner, Jenny must also face an even scarier event: her 42nd birthday the day after! Donnie has a couple tricks up his sleeve to take her mind off getting older.
