Plot Synopsis

DOG TOWN, USA is a half-hour reality series that follows the staff and medical professionals at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, one of the largest no-kill animal facilities in the country. Located on 33,000 acres in southern Utah, Dogtown volunteers and employees work tirelessly to rehabilitate the dogs with the hope of placing as many as possible with loving owners. Each week, the staff and experts create a safe sanctuary for dogs from around the world, while medical professionals provide personal care to each dog beginning the detailed process of rehabilitation in preparation for uniting each dog with a loving new family and home. This series -- which originally debuted on Nat Geo in 2008 with the title DOGTOWN -- premiered the weekend of Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10:30am in most cities (check local listings) as part of Litton Entertainment's programming block, "One Magnificent Morning," an educational and informational programming block for teens and their families, airing on Saturday mornings on CW affiliates across the United States.
