Plot Synopsis

DISNEY'S MAGIC BAKE-OFF is a competitive series for kids 6-14 that combines the wonder of baking with the ingenuity of young pastry chefs. Dara Renee and Issac Ryan Brown co-host the 13-episode series and, along with Disneyland resort pastry chef Graciela Gomez, guide kid contestants through a series of challenges and surprises as they create the most extraordinary cakes inspired by the magic of Disney. In each one-hour episode, three teams of two race against the clock to design a Disney-inspired cake utilizing Tastemade's recipe videos and an enchanted pantry filled with a world of ingredients and surprises. At the end of each episode, the winning team is named Disney Baking Champion and their winning recipe becomes a featured Tastemade video, available on Disney Channel and Tastemade social media platforms.

In the series opener, "Descendants," the kid contestants create the ultimate DESCENDANTS wedding cake in an episode that debuts at a special time (10:05pm) on Friday, August 13, 2021 on Disney Channel. In later episodes -- which debut at 8pm on Fridays on Disney Channel -- featured cakes are inspired by these Disney classics: STAR WARS, THE LION KING, TOY STORY, ZOMBIES, and more.
