Plot Synopsis

DIG is a one-hour adventure series that centers on Peter Connelly, an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem, who, while investigating the murder of an American archaeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2,000 years in the making. Peter's boss at the FBI's Jerusalem branch, Lynn Monahan, is also his friend -- and occasionally his lover. When an American, Yussef Khalid, disappears after being accused of murder, Israeli Police Detective Golan Cohen helps Peter pursue him. Meanwhile, there's evangelist Ted Billingham, an avuncular leader of a reclusive religious cult, who has used his access and funds to build a religious congregation, attracting dedicated followers like Debbie, who spends most of her time looking after a fellow disciple -- but she begins to question the beliefs and choices that have led her to this isolated place. On Monday, February 23, 2015 at 11:05pm ET/PT, USA Network premiered THE MAKING OF DIG, a half-hour special that goes behind the scenes of the new event series DIG, premiering on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT on USA Network. This special highlights the show's locations, reveals the conspiracies and mysteries explored, and features creators Tim Kring & Gideon Raff.

On Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, USA Network premiered the season finale of DIG. In the season ender, "Armageddon Protocol," Peter races to stop the Order of Moriah's plans of destroying the Temple Mount to initiate the End of Days; Lynn takes matters into her own hands; Tad finds a flaw in his plan; Peter discovers the answers in the Emma Wilson case.
