Plot Synopsis

Each one-hour episode of DEATH IN THE DEEP SOUTH focuses on a different true crime case that involves a murder in the Southern states of America. In the series opener, "Baby Snatchers," heartless killers murder young mothers and steal their infants, and it will be years before investigators find a lead, and when one finally surfaces, no one working the case will ever be the same. In a later installment, "A Bad Night in Alabama," an Alabama wife returns from the store to find her home in disarray and her beloved husband missing; police later find him shot dead in the house and launch a murder investigation, but the sweet man's list of enemies is almost non-existent.
