Plot Synopsis

DEADLY SECRETS is a one-hour documentary series about suspenseful games of cat-and-mouse between deceptive villains on journeys of escalating danger and the everyday heroes who struggle to derail their evil intentions. Investigation Discovery premiered the series at 6pm ET/PT on New Year's Day 2019 (Tuesday, January 1) with the "Killer Colleagues" episode, chronicling the story of Zoe Pulver and Jane Long, who had great jobs working for Ashley Pollow, a talented tax attorney in Florida. But Ashley also had a violent temper, and when a grisly murder took place in the front office at his home, Jane and Zoe found themselves way too close to the killer. Three weeks later, DEADLY SECRETS returned for its official series premiere on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the series opener, "The Truth Hurts," an affair with another man's wife embroils fun-loving James Raine in a world of deceit and greed where two men die and a tight-knit family is torn apart. James' older brother Enoch and his uncle William battle to uncover the murderer and stop the killing.

On Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the season finale of DEADLY SECRETS. In the season ender, "A Killer Hand," 17-year-old Steven Willis is working in a mechanic's shop when a horrific murder rocks his family. Haunted by survivor's guilt, Steven embarks on a years-long journey to bring the killer to justice, but can he succeed before someone else dies?
