Plot Synopsis

DEADLY ALIBI re-creates crimes for which people lied to police to help a friend, family member or significant other avoid being arrested for as long as possible, but the accomplices eventually did tell the truth, closing the investigations on these deadly crimes. Each 60-minute episode features a different person, including: Kerry Humphrey, who eventually plead guilty for lying to protect Travis Forbes, who is serving life in prison after pleading guilty to the first-degree murder of 19-year-old Kenia Monge; and Melanie Cooper, who used the same false alibi for nearly 20 years to protect her high school boyfriend, Eric Windhurst, who used a .270 caliber rifle to shoot Melanie's stepfather, Danny Paquette.
