Family members and friends who knew the victim and killer give candid and heartbreaking testimonies. The series also examines what led these mums and dads to murder, and assess whether the crime could've been stopped. In the season opener, "A Family Massacre," Marcus Wesson is confronted by police in a custody dispute, a situation that ends with nine of his children dead -- all in an effort to stop his dark family secrets from being exposed. Marcus's son, Serafino, talks about that terrible day and his father's reign of terror.
