Plot Synopsis

Using re-enactments and first-person interviews, DATES FROM HELL tells the tales of romantic encounters gone horribly wrong. Each 30-minute episode highlights a single story, including: an American tourist who watches her charming Italian love interest transform into a violent assailant, leaving her to scale the rooftops of Rome searching for safety in a foreign city; two college sweethearts surrounded by three gang members who torture them, separate them, and leave them both for dead in the New Mexican desert; a woman who had to make a daring escape from her kidnapper's trunk; a man who was lured into a serial killer's lair from a dating website; and many more dates that transformed into fights for death. Season 2 debuted on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, with back-to-back new episodes.

DATES FROM HELL returned for its third season on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the Season 3 premiere, Kay can't help but notice Scott, the new kid at school. Her heart skips when he asks her out. He is a gentleman, opening doors and paying for dinner and tickets. But at the stroke of her midnight curfew, her dream evening becomes her worst nightmare.
